The Alpinista Snowmobile is a vehicle in Just Cause 4.
Appearance[]
This snowmobile resembles pretty much a normal snowmobile. Some real ones have a tall front window, but this one is a low and streamlined version.
The straight lines and lack of many styling cues suggest it may be from an older design from around the 1980s. It is similar in appearance to a Yamaha SS440, with an indented headlamp position similar to the John Deere 400.
It has Armadillo written on both sides, indicating that it was made by them.
Performance[]
It struggles a little during the initial acceleration, especially if it has to start while going up hill, but other than that it seems to function as one would expect.
It works equally well on snow, asphalt and sand.
Disappointingly, it's not amphibious, like real snowmobiles are. Real ones don't directly float, but they can drive on water if they stay at high speed. See at YouTube. The Alpinista sinks immediately.
Locations[]
- 2 are parked at the unmarked building where the mission Sandstinger: Train Robbery begins.
- Unlocked at the supply drop by completing the mission Sandstinger: Train Robbery.
Trivia[]
- It's made by the fictional company Armadillo.
- Interesting, Just Cause 3 was originally going to have a snowmobile (see cut game content from Just Cause 3.) The incomplete model was found in game files and even made to work as a modification.
