The Chevalier Liner SB is a pick-up style improvised bus in Just Cause 2.
It's a pick-up with a tented cargo compartment, which contains two rows of benches, making this a public transportation vehicle.
It can be seen in black, dark red orange, dark blue, dark green and greyish white.
It's very similar in appearance to the Vaultier Patrolman, especially when viewed from a distance. It's also similar to the Niseco Coastal D22, in the sense that it too is a cargo vehicle that was converted for passenger transport.
It's made by the fictional company Chevalier.
It handles fairly well on and off road. Acceleration isn't great but it handles well at moderate speeds, especially in the desert. It can sustain 3-4 head-on collisions before it starts to take significant damage. It's a poor choice for outrunning the Panau Military, though, as it's very tall, and is rather easy to hit with gunfire.
- In traffic at the Lautan Lama Desert and Berawan Besar Mountains.
- Vaultier Patrolman; Chevalier Liner SB; Chevalier Traveller SD and -SX can all be found at X:21440; Y:12900.
- Sri Irawan uses one during most Ular Boys mission briefings.
- It is possible to sit on the cargo compartment's left bench. Sitting in the back has the same effect as sitting in the front passenger seat, meaning you cannot control the vehicle. The only difference is that Rico does not immediately shift into the driver's seat. Because this seat was never fully programmed, Rico will momentarily twitch into the air before getting a foothold on the ground after exiting it. During this brief time the camera will jerk around uncontrollably. See also: Vehicle seating.
