Kuala Jernih is a military base in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
It is a standard Panau Military camp. The standard buildings and arrangments are found here, including a whole bunch of wooden barrack buildings, hangars, Guard Towers, a helipad (empty) and also a lot of rubble lying around the base. Among the destructible objects are lots of Fuel Depots, a Water Tower and also Broadcast Towers and Generators. Beware, as there is a sniper in the mentioned Water Tower.
Other notable things found in the base are several Mounted Guns, a Medicine cabinet and also both trucks in the Fengding EC series.
The name means "Clear Rivermouth" in both Malay and Indonesian and is another of the many settlement names that fits their respective location totally wrong. Although, the name could refer to the place a long time ago.
Location[]
In the north-eastern part of the geographical district of Lautan Lama Desert, north of Sungai Remaja. One public road each are found on the east respective on the west side, and the base can be accessed from these via small dirt roads. Since the base is so close to both of these roads, reinforcements may come from there.
