Gunung Hutan Merah is a military base in Just Cause 2.

DescriptionEdit

The base is a usual forest camp, located aside of a small paved road, west of the northern end of the Rajang river. It has a couple of small hangars, wooden Guard Towers at the entrance and several wooden barracks.

There are several steep hillsides on the side of the road passing outside the base. These hillsides can be used with a Sniper Rifle for a stealthy destruction of the base. It can be an alternative way to clear the base, instead of doing it while in close-combat. Wiping out all the soldiers at the base can be pretty difficult. Since the base is located close to the road, reinforcements can easily arrive to the base.

According to the info on Mo Zuo Itik in the PDA Database, this base is one of the best training camps in Panau, and it's considered an honour to be placed here by most members of the Panau Military.

It will be completely deserted after completion.
