According to the PDA, colonel Zulkrnain uses the communications equipment at this base to download, burn and watch DVD-movies. President Panay allows this only because a copy of every DVD is sent to him and his staff, who then use them in an attempt to learn western languages such as German and Dutch, in order to impress girls with his knowledge. Bertrand is usually a travelling Colonel, but is currently stationed at this base (Bertrand doesn't actually travel during gameplay, therefore will only be found at the base.)
There are three hangars at the base: Several concrete bunker buildings, some Guard Towers and Radar bunkers. It is worth noting that there is at least one soldier who carries a Rocket Launcher stationed within the radar bunkers. There are two Miniguns at the access way to the Communications Outpost.
The name means "Broken Back Mountain Camp" in Malaysian.
It's located on top of a small hill, in a snowy mountain valley, at an altitude of 1040 meters over sea level. The base can be accessed via road or helipad. It's the highest location that can be reached from the nearby road.

- Colonel Bertrand.
- The name may be related to the mountain on the other side of the public road, which is steep and dangerous. There are several high cliffs under the base, the highest of which is found below the communications outpost. It has also been speculated that the naming of the base is a reference to the 2005 film, "Brokeback Mountain". Some people therefore draw the conclusion that the presence of two colonels pays homage to the film.
