Pulling a Jeremy is an Ular Boys mission in Just Cause 2.

Introduction[]

Sri Irawan requests that Rico meets up with a government informant, who has a serious drug addiction and wants him delivered to a safehouse for debriefing.

Mission briefing from the PDA map:

"A local government officer has got a serious drug addiction and the Ulars are using this to press him for information about military activities on Pulau Kenjantanan."
"Sri Irawan now wants someone to pick this informant up and bring him to a safe house for debriefing. They have scheduled a meeting with the informant in Bandar Baru Indah."

Walkthrough[]


Once you arrive at the scene, talk to the informant. After the brief exchange, drive him to the drop-off point. Luckily, there's a handy Maddox FVA 45 right there. On the way to the drop-off zone, you'll encounter two Roadblocks and many hostile pursuers. The informant will man the turret. He has very high health, so he should survive the entire trip.

After the mission is complete, the government informant will magically disappear into thin air from the turret.

If you die during the mission, then click "Continue" and then "abort". When you spawn back at a Faction Stronghold, the "Government Informant" mission goal will still be up, you can talk to him and he'll follow you even outside the mission! The government will try to kill him but will leave you alone.

Trivia[]

  • To "pull a Jeremy" is an expression for promising to help obtain alcohol, money and/or food, but have no intention of actually doing it. More info about this at the "Urban dictionary".
  • The government informant uses the character model of a Panau Military elite or grunt.
    • As such, he is the only green-marked Panau Military member in the game. As a result, this mission is the only time where a Panau Military traitor will fire on his former allies.
  • Although not in short supply, this mission is (strangely) the only mission that features Chepachet PVDs.
  • The "safehouse" is actually just a marketplace near Sungai Geneng.
