Appearance
Edit
It has a row of back seats, although no players have seen a passenger in the back. Along with it being very common on the road, finding one can turn a perilous, slow journey into a quick stroll in the park.
The car resembles a 2001 Vauxhall Astravan with back windows.
Locations
Edit
- Commonly seen driven by civilians.
- Sometimes at military checkpoints, but is mostly replaced by the Hamaya Oldman.
- One can be found at approximately X:5180; Y:31670, in the Kampung Kilang Papan village. A Chevalier Traveller SC is also found here.
Performance
Edit
The Sakura drives fast and is easier to drive than most vehicles in-game. The table (other than the first 2 rows) is from the official strategy guide:
| Top speed in km/h: | 130.7 |
| Top speed in mil/h: | 81.2 |
| Top speed: | 55 |
| Acceleration: | 49 |
| Armour: | 32 |
| "Handling": | 48 |
Maneuverability
Edit
The Sakura is one of the easiest vehicles to control, as long as you can turn the wheel hard enough and find the correct speed to drive it at, because as with any vehicles in Just Cause 2, at a certain speed, they start to lose maneuverability.
Durability
Edit
The Sakura is rather fragile, with an example being during a test, the player drove the car off a low cliff and the Sakura exploded. Another test was conducted, with the same results as the last. However, the Sakura can stand quite a beating as long as it maintains a relatively median line on the road. In several tests, the Sakura was launched straight into a oncoming police vehicle, and it maintained its integrity quite well. Another test, showed that firing on the hood of the car and the trunk door, seems to do little damage to the vehicle.
